Charity

More than ten percent of the income of the parish is expended on charity. Financial support is extended for meeting the expenses towards medical treatments, marriages, schooling, self employment ventures, etc., to the needy.

Using the funds raised under the patronage of Mr. T. John (Nandavanom) and family, 5 cents of land was purchased. With a donation of Rs. 70000/- from the church, a house was built and on March 1995 the house was handed over to a needy family. Since 2008, complete undergraduate nursing education of a student is being sponsored by the parish at a cost of Rs 75000 per year.
